Getting to Hopkins Village Belize
Your flight will land at Phillip Goldson International Airport. There are several options to get to beautiful Hopkins Village
Grounds Transfer. Book your grounds transfers with us . We now have a newly paved highway that allows all transfer to be faster. This is the Coastal Road Highway. Yo ur transfer will take 2 hours to Hopkins Village
Car Rental. Car rental is very convenient if you want to explore alone. Car rental companies are at the airport and prior to your arrival. Some of rental companies are Crystal Auto Rentals or Aq Belize Car Rentals . These companies has 24 hours assistance.
Local Hopper Flight. We have two local flights in Belize Tropic Air or Maya Island Air
Online booking tip- book hopper flight one hour after landing. You need to give your self time to clear customs. The flight from international airport to Dangriga town takes 15 minutes. There after you can book a grounds transfer with Bucket List Tours And Transfers. Transfer takes 30 minutes from Dangriga to Hopkins
Remember day one is travel and relaxing day. After arriving to your hotel you can now relax and enjoy a pina colada on the beach.
Feel free to explore the village and interact with the locals. The culture in Hopkins is Garifuna. There are drumming in certain location of the village, ask front desk for drumming dates and location.
Day 2
Chocolate Making & Waterfall Tour Combo.
Why not do two tours in 1 day. Grab breakfast from your resort and then set off to Chocolate making tour. On the local cocoa farm you will be taken through the chocolate making process. First by viewing and identifying the cacao pods. Cocao has been apart of the mayan culture in Belize. You will be amazed by the history. Tour duration is 4 hours. 10 minutes away from the Chocolate making tour site is a beautiful water fall. No long hikes necessary. Take coolers with beers and snacks. You will walk two flights of stairs and there you will see the beautiful breath taking water fall. Relax and swim here for 1 to 2 hours.
Day 3
Snorkeling At The Barrier Reef

You can opt for half day or full day of snorkeling. Half day includes snacks and water. Full day includes snacks and lunch .
Day 4
Wake up to sunrise.
Go to the beach and as you wait for the sun to rise , take a few moments to practice mindfulness. Overall experience in Hopkins should be very easy going and laid back. Be sure to check your flight itinerary. There is more that can be added to your travel itinerary . Four days might not be enough.
